Depression and Anger-two emotions people have difficulty in dealing with

Depression and anger are both negative emotions.But they seem to be on opposite sides.One of the two emotions can be be seen by people exhibited by an affected person. While the other can be unnoticeable.

As a family counselor San Diego I have seen both emotions. Both of them, if the case is already serious, need to be addressed by an expert in that field.These are not problems which someone can just ignore.In the case of anger you can hurt other people.You can harm yourself when depressed.

Let’s talk about anger first. Anger is an emotion which can be explosive.It is natural and it happens to all of us.But people sometimes release all their pent up anger.It could seem uncontrollable sometimes.  And if you let it get away from you, it can be.But those times are the times when you must suppress it.  Anger can hurt other people physically as well emotionally.  If it gets too much you need to seek some anger management San Diego.

The other one is depression.It may be unnoticed not like anger where it is very obvious when experienced.The main reason is because most people hold in their depression.  Sure it can get noticeable. The usual sign that someone already need to seek help is when it already becomes noticeable.Why would a depressed person need professional help?Because a severely depressed person can harm themselves and others around them.People hide it that’s why it is or can be dangerous.  If a person gets to the point of severe depression they need professional help such as depression counselor.

It is difficult when handling emotional problems.Most of the people affected by these problems think they can solve it on their own.Or they feel like they can handle it on their own without anybody’s help.But it is at that time that they need to seek help the most.It is unacceptable for them.  But when you are dealing with emotions that can bring harm to themselvesand others, you need to.


Dealing with anger management has many reasons

One of the best things about being human is our emotions.As people, we have been blessed and given the ability to express and experience these strong emotions like love, happiness, joy, etc.But there is a few emotions that aren’t as positive but just as powerful.Things like depression, sadness, and anger.

One of those strong emotions is anger.  It is so powerful it can be dangerous in some people.It is this type of instance that we are going to look at and how to deal with it.  This is coming from my experience dealing with anger through my practice of anger management counseling.

There are many techniques that can be used to address anger. But what I want to key in on is why we need to address it.Such as the results that can happen with uncontrollable anger.

Well for a drastic extreme anger leads to violence many times. Often something like anger in it’s uncontrollable state can cause very violent acts with your loved ones.A person who might be simply wonderful and loving towards their family, can suddenlyl turn violent and angry towards those same loved ones.  We have all heard stories of crimes of passion.A lot of the times that passion was anger. If your anger seems violent sometimes and sometimes uncontrollable, that is the time you should go and seek anger management counseling.

Sometimes even depression can lead to anger management issues and that is when you need to seek depression counseling.

Anger is definitely not something you want to leave unchecked if it does cross over into the violent.

Then there is the less violent, but nonetheless harmful anger. Such as getting angry at little things that doesn’t let one think properly.  This could affect relationships.  It could affect jobs.It can and will hurt your performance with many
tasks.Anger like in that form can actually hinder your judgement greatly.As we mentioned earlier, it is not as violent, but it is something you still have to address.

By addressing your anger through counseling you can improve your quality of life greatly.  You can improve relationships, job performance, and many other things.

Not dealing with it, could lead to many harmful effects.   Effects that could have easily been avoided through caring counseling.  I know and have seen it firsthand through my practice as a therapist San Diego.

Don’t let an emotion such as anger get the best of you.  It can be treated and helped.


Anger Management issues

In our lives we experience a broad spectrum of emotions.Emotions that are great, and emotions that aren’t so desirable.

A few of those emotions can have an impact on relationships and families.Sometimes those experiences of emotion can cause problems with jobs or other social interactive occassions. 

One of those emotions I would like to tackle is anger.  Specifically using anger managment to control it.

One of the bad results would be more violence.  When you are watching a movie and the main character uses anger to fight back and win, it’s nice, but it is glamorized.

Anger isn’t that glamorous.  It is an emotion that needs to be handled through an anger management programs.Because left alone it can cause bad results.

There can be a lot of issues that cause it.Stress in regards to money.Or it can be relationship problems.  It could be from many causes.But one thing is certain.  Anger needs to be managed.  You need to find anger management techniques that will work for you.

Anger can cause simple yelling.Or worse yet, if you are in a marriage, it can damage your marriage.Sometimes when the anger is so horrible that even a breakup could be ideal.  But of course there are the times when anger gets so bad it leads to violence.There more than I could count the many cases of domestic violence.

That is why it so important when dealing with anger.By locating techniques and methods of treating this emotion, a lot of problems can be avoided. 

Not confronting it can lead to broken relationships.It can cause problems in your job.  It could lead to problems socially.All of these problems could be avoided if you were to use anger managment to manage it.

So if you seem to be having these troubles, go for help.Do not let the emotion of anger get the better of you.Treat it immediately.

Whether you do it professionally with a therapist.  Or whether you find some techniques through a book.Treat it.
