Remote Viewing – A Novices Guide

Do you know what remote viewing is? It’s a psychic ability that allows you to see people, places and things that are not within range of your normal sight. That is, you can’t see or hear what’s going on by conventional means, but you can use your own natural psychic ability and learn how to see things without actually being there in person.

However, there’s one distinction that needs to be made. Remote viewing is not the same as having an out of body experience. Having an out of body experience, also called ‘astral travel,’ occurs when you travel in spirit form to go and see an event or place.

In contrast to astral travel, remote viewing is a kind of psychic dowsing. That is, the remote viewer is using his or her psychic power to be able to see locations not visible to the physical eye. In other words, someone doing remote viewing is using a kind of ESP to ‘see’ what is happening within a given location.

All of us have latent psychic abilities, but some of us never were able to develop them when we were young. Most people only ever use around 10% of their brains’ full power, which means that 90% of your brain’s power is left dormant, untrained and untapped, so that we never know its full potential.

Imagine being able to reach out and just know that your children are okay while they’re away from family. The security and peace of mind that comes with being able to use remote viewing for beneficial needs is priceless.

Remote viewing differs from other types of psychic ability because anybody can learn how to become a remote viewer. In fact, studies show that many so-called ‘non-psychic’ people have indeed demonstrated an ability to perform remote viewing once they’ve been put into a ‘trancelike’ state; once there, they could indeed produce results from remote viewing that were highly accurate.

Here are some simple remote viewing techniques you can try on your own:

*Sit comfortably in a quiet place and close your eyes. You should be sure there are no distractions before you begin.

*Breathe slowly and deeply through your nose, relaxing as you do so. You may find your breathing easier to manage if you lightly press your tongue to your mouth’s roof. This will also help curb any tendencies you may have to yawn during this part of the process.

*Belief is a key element in your remote viewing success rate. As you descend deeper into your relaxed state, you need to believe that you are capable of seeing people, events, or places that you’ve never physically seen.

*Start with something simple, so that you can test your abilities and show yourself that you’re indeed capable of doing this kind of psychic viewing. For example, you could ‘place yourself’ in a standing position in front of the ‘you’ that is sitting relaxed in a chair. Now, look back over your shoulder at the ‘relaxed’ you, and see if you can see yourself sitting there. It can be a little trying it first to try to see yourself from this perspective, but patience is necessary. When you can finally see yourself from this position, it’s a marvelous surprise.

*Once you can see yourself from this kind of relatively simple remote viewing perspective, make it a little bit more challenging. Pick a location that you’re very familiar with but that is nonetheless some distance away from you. For example, perhaps you can use a family member or friend’s home as the location you want to see. As you train your ‘remote viewing’ on this location, take note of anything that may not be as it normally is when you’ve been there before. Perhaps there are books stacked on the coffee table or some scattered toys on the floor. Make note of these ‘out of place’ things that make this particular view unique from any others you have seen previously. As soon as you get a chance, call and ask your friend or family member to confirm what you saw with your remote viewing. Confirming that your view was accurate is very important, because it will give you greater confidence in your ability to do this type of remote viewing.

You can also change these remote-viewing exercises so that you can get feedback much more quickly. Have a friend or family member sit in another room of your home, out of your line of sight. Ask him or her to repeat some simple motion, such as waving a hand, twirling a strand of hair, etc. sit quietly and use remote viewing to see if you can see the action being performed. When it’s done, ask whether or not your results were correct.

Once you have spent some time practicing your remote viewing techniques you may find that it’s much easier and quicker to get yourself into a relaxed state. This state is very similar to the trance-like relaxation people achieve under hypnosis. Even though they are still wide awake, the body is relaxed enough to access the sub-conscious mind.

If you are new to tapping into your psychic abilities, you can access them much more easily by your subconscious. The more you work on getting good at your remote viewing techniques, the better you’ll get at them.
